yAppointment Scanner App Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the yAppointment Scanner app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The App is a companion application to the yAppointment platform and its use is also governed by the yAppointment Terms of Service, which take precedence in the event of a conflict. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Subject to your (or your employer's) active yAppointment subscription and compliance with these Terms, LohiSoft s.r.o. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you control, solely for the purpose of performing warehouse, inventory, and credential-validation tasks on behalf of the Business that employs you. This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

The App is intended exclusively for use by staff and employees of a business operating an active yAppointment account ("the Business"). You must have a valid yAppointment staff account, provisioned by your employer, to log in and use the App. The App is not intended for use by end consumers or the general public.

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
• Use the App for any purpose other than the Business's own warehouse, inventory, or credential-validation operations
• Attempt to access data, inventory, or credentials belonging to a company other than your own employer
• Circumvent or interfere with the App's authentication, security, or synchronization mechanisms
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party

The App, including its source code, design, and functionality, is the exclusive property of LohiSoft s.r.o. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license described above.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LohiSoft s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability in connection with the App shall not exceed the amount paid by the Business for the yAppointment subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your license to use the App terminates automatically if your yAppointment staff account is deactivated, if the Business's yAppointment subscription ends, or if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and may be required to remove it from your device.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply under the law of your country of residence.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated 'Last updated' date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we will provide notice via the App or the yAppointment admin panel. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
