Your name on the app. Not theirs.
Planity takes no commission on your bookings, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The difference is somewhere else. On Planity your client books on planity.com, where the salons around you appear beside you, and there is no app in the stores carrying your name. With yAppointment the booking happens under your brand — and our price is on the pricing page, not behind a sales call.
Planity's marketplace is real reach: fifteen million users and, by the company's own figures, ten million bookings a month. Your salon gets its own page on planity.com and turns up in local searches. That is the upside. The other side of the same page is that those searches are geolocated — when someone looks for you, the results also show the salons around you. You are on a shelf, and your competitors are on it too.
Ask for an app with your salon's name on it, and what Planity offers is a white-label booking module you embed in your own website. It works, and it is not nothing — but it is not your app. Search the App Store or Google Play for your salon and you will not find it; your clients book in the Planity app, under the Planity name. With yAppointment your business gets its own listing in both stores, published under your name and your icon, for a one-time €400.
Planity does not publish its prices. The pricing page lists three plans — Agenda, Agenda + Caisse, Agenda + Caisse + TPE — and instead of a figure, one button: talk to an advisor. You find out what you will pay after the conversation, and what the salon down the street pays is anyone's guess. Ours is written down: €10 per month per location, unlimited staff and bookings, and fourteen days to try it without a card.
Where Planity is stronger
A comparison that only flatters the seller is worth nothing. Three things Planity has that we do not.
The marketplace
Fifteen million consumers and more than sixty thousand salons across France, Belgium and Germany. If what you want is new footfall from a consumer platform, that is Planity's home ground and we have no equivalent. We bring people to your own channels — your site, your app, your Google profile — not to a shared marketplace.
The NF525-certified cash register
From the Agenda + Caisse plan, Planity ships a point of sale certified to the French NF525 standard. We connect to French invoicing software — Pennylane, Axonaut and Sellsy — but we do not ship a certified cash register. If you are in France and you record payments in the software itself, talk to us before you switch.
A decade in the French market
Planity was founded in Paris in 2016. Today it holds 4.7 out of 5 across more than three thousand Trustpilot reviews, with French-language support six days a week and named advisors who walk salons through setup. That reputation was earned, and it is fair to say so.
Switch in 3 easy steps
Get your client file out of Planity
Planity states that your client database belongs to you exclusively, and that you may keep it after you stop working with them. Request the export by email from the manager's address on file, or use the export button under Clients → Client file → Management if it is enabled on your account. A request by phone is not accepted.
Set up yAppointment
Send us the file. Our AI assistant builds your services, prices, staff schedules and notification templates from it, in your own language. Nothing has to be retyped.
Move your booking link when you are ready
Run both systems through your fourteen-day trial. Point your website, your Google profile and your Instagram at your own booking page — and, if you ordered the branded app, at your listing in the stores. Planity's monthly plan needs ten days' notice, the annual plan a month, so check which one you signed.
